I recently discovered the Evil Petting Zoo outside Kaadara, and have become a regular customer. You have quite a shop, Arthur!

I went for Creature Handler from the beginnng of my SWG career, and have enjoyed it probably more than anything else in the game so far. Alas, the dismal state of affairs for natural pets had forced me to consider looking at bioengineered pets in order to have companions capable of surviving at my guy's level of gameplay. I can use CL-35 pets, and the best creatures I can tame at that level are graul maulers, gleaming lantern birds, and boar wolf ravagers. At that level, natural pets have decent resists and special attacks, but no armor.

So, I bought my first BE'd pet from the Evil Petting Zoo: a CL-32 razor cat with light armor, 60% Kinetic resistance, and Blind/Strong Poison special attacks. So far, results have been excellent. I took the cat out against a whole series of rancor lairs, ahd he endured the combat with flying colors. Even my graul mauler would have been shredded. And it all resulted in some nice CH xp, too -- about 450 to 490 XP for each rancor we killed, and a whopping 1100 or so for the occasional Enraged Rancor random spawn.

And so, now I have activated a second pet, a CL-31 kliknik with 40% kinetic and 45% energy resistance and (again) light armor. My plan for him is to send him up against NPC's.I also plan to shop around for a similarly tough pet with Intimidate for hunting those hard-hitting Nightsisters and Dantooinian Force-wielders, so he can tone down their massive attacks.

So, a public /salute to you for creating some outstanding products, Arthur!

why thank you for the kind words. I don't think I've had the pleasure of meeting you in-game. Let me know if you ever need anything custom. I'll be happy to do it for you.

You are indeed fortunate to have Arthur on your server. He's one of the best pet makers in the business.

I enjoy Arthur Dent's name quite a bit.

I almost was Ford Prefect in game, but I have always prefered Arthur Dent.

Gladly. I'll keep looking around your shop whenever I come by Kaadara (which is frequently), but if I develop a specific need that's not addressed by your inventory at some point, I'll letcha know.

I haven't met you in-game, but you may know a neighbor who is a friend of mine: Actare Night, owner of The Boom-Boom Room, a couple hundred meters catty-wumpus from your store. He's the one who gave me the tip that your Zoo was the place to shop for pets.
