(i have looked all over theforums for an answer and been unsuccesful, if it is in plain site then i aploogize for the clutter)

Can a clothing item (other than a wookie or twilek specific item ) be made w/ +20 or higher toIntimidate (notcaringhow it may or may not affect the Warcry) ?

From what i have read on your professions' board, it appears that this mod (intimidate)goes into areinforced fiberpanel? and if so, it appears that they can not be stacked like the others (like the synth cloth inthe med mod). If all this is true then can the quality of the tissue (i think that is what you all call it) be of high enough quality to produce the +20 or better? (using the best resources, experimenting, etc)

Thank you for your help!!

you read it correctly. The intimidation bonus goes into RFP, and RFP cannot be stacked within a single item of clothing. The theoretical limit for intimidation bonus tissueis +20, but as a practical matter, I think you'll have a very hard time finding above +17.

Thank you very much for your response. Although it was not the response i was hoping for ... it was very fast and informative.

+20 is what you'd get if you're an MBE working with materials with 1000 on every stat and getting amazing or good successes with every experimentation - in practical terms, +15 is a good result and +17 is exceptional. You can always stack 2 tissues in 2 different items of clothing to get the cap, anyway, if you're not wearing a full suit of composite with it (which I'm assuming you are based on your question heh)

you can wear a bando and a shirt each with +13 intim, probably cheaper then trying for the +17 also . This would allow you to wear full comp aromor with the +25 to intimidate, at the cost of a backpack. Like you i had a hard time finding this information, its mostly in the tailor forums if you dig prettydeeply, i also talked to numerous tailors/bes in game to get al my questions answered... although i'm not really sure why i'm in this forum right now , guess just trying to learn moreand help out where i can.

Thank you for your responses however, trying to wear the cap is not my intention. Here is why (PLEASE help if you can)...

I have a clothing attachment with +20intimidation and +19medical experimentation (in that order). I am trying to find a way to get the med to stick

You need a -2 orbelow intimidation tape. I do believe thats the only way to make that stick.

Look at it from this way...which I believe is correct:

intim > medical = intim

intim = medical = intim (alphabetical)

intim < medical = medical

Also, I don't believe that it will work putting a +2 medical tape in there, you have to lower the sticking stat. There are guides on CAs and AAs inthe forums, prob under game guides, but just use the search funtion.

Heya thanks for the insighfull post. Here is the problem.. been there done that. Researched Researched Research and i too came to the conclusion that by simply inserting a -2 intimidate ca into an article of clothing first then putting the +20intim+19med in after that i would effectively be lowing the +20 to a +18 thereby getting the med to stick......HOWEVER i tested this with a similar set of attachments and the -2 did not register... (i put in a -2 armor repair in a shirt w/4 sockets. Placing it in resulted in no change to the shirt..ie.. the shirt did not say -2 armor repair... hmm i thought so i placed in a +2 armor repair/+1 clothing experimentation and i ended up with a shirt with a mod of ... +2 armor repair Is there a trick to getting the negative attachment to stick first?

Thanks a Bunch.... Geras

No idea. And here isn't the place to ask. Im not actually sure there is a place to ask. Really you need a CSR or DEV to tell you how to do this, but I don't know if you can get a response out of them. Try the CSR forum, as for the official verdict on how to do this.

Perhaps you have to put the -2 in afterwards or something?

ya who knows, oh well but thanks... And yes i am aware that this is not the place to ask; please see original post. Subject matter drifted only because of assumptions made that i feel i needed to address.

Thanks - Geras

I don't go there very often, but I remember a guide on the Tailors board that all the info in CA's in it. I think it even had a way to get a lower one to stick over a higher one. I'd try their FAQ.

I recently asked about negating stats on CAs. What I learned:

Previously, CAs with negative bonuses could help strip the undesirable stat.

Currently, negative bonuses don't strip stats anymore.
