Thread: Master Creature Handler Looking for Uber PETS
Since, a BE posted on the CH forum I am returning the favor.
I am looking forward to the new changes in the hopes of getting a CL70 level pet from a BE. I am also going to be a Master Ranger (4/2/4/3) currently. So if you want to hunt for some nice uber DNA let me know.
Justto let you know I frist was planning on being a BE till I saw how borked the proffesion was(is?). I still have a couple of milks a fellow player gave me from nightsister loot, about 3 months old now.![]()

You know what they say..."want in one hand and $hit in the other and see which one fills up first."
i think this guy is just excited about the new changes. Tal's post wasnt rude, heeven put a smiley at the end to clarify that he was being friendly, but just asking the poster to realize that it may be a few days before the master BE's on his server get accuainted(sp?) with the new system. the post after his was rude, but who cares, hes just hurting himself.
anyhow, i finally got SWG installed and working, so im gonna try and hop onto TC and run around aimlessly for a while, maybe try out vehicles.
I think its a bit early also to say wether we will be able to make "uber" pets or not, or even just how uber they will be compared to wild...
Not to rain on anyones parade, but they nerfed creatures across the board to lessen their impact within the game, and I have a serious doubts that the developers wouldlessenthe power of wild creatures and then allow BE made ones to take thier place with the same level of significance.

Sorry, but it looked pretty obvious to me. "I want"...and if it is going to take you longer than I am willing to wait, "I'll hunt DNA with you" because I didn't feel like going after a "borked" profession even though the one I chose has nothing to do with Star Wars. How is this being nice? We don't even have the ability yet. It hasn't been tested. It just got on TC today...well, yesterday now.
1) I want is not Give me .. Knowing what your customers WANTS tells what will sell.
2) Ranger skill Rescue may help save your butt
3) Yes it is on TC and when it goes live next, will you be ready?
Gee what Makes it real un-STAR WARSY for me is seeing weaponsmiths, armorsmiths, tailors, and others I NEVER saw in any of the movies. At least animals and creature handlers (stupid ones)were in the movies and rebels didn't have free reign or recruiters in the middle of town.

According to the notes, BE's will have control over the final CL of a creature. Therefore boosting a CL above WILD version is one of the reasons for the creature balancing that went on. A BE made RANCOR will be better than wild if made correctly.

Oh, and on top of that...I should be grateful that a CH has finally deigned to be "nice" to me?
OMG! My heart is aflutter! The CH glanced my way! /faint

Since CL is going to scale according to the relative power of the creature, a BE rancor while more powerful then a wild onewill also most likely alsobe a higher CL - which brings into play the control levels of the CH now too. So yes, a BE can make a more powerful rancor (potentially), but since it very will might be a higher CL then it either may not be wanted (due to factors like wanting to run multiple pets at once with a combined level max, or even if the pet exceeds the control level of the CH).
The big "if" is how CL scales. Do special attacks add to the CL? Is it only based on HAM, resistsand armor? What isthe combination of factors that will increase or decrease CL?
Will there be an advantage of a BE pet over a wild one withequal CLs? Thats where the mystery lies at the moment.
