I am relativly new to this game and am enjoying it immensley. I've not really focused on many professions, however as i am sitting here at work bored out of my skull i thought i would read through this prefession. My question is this:

What do you do with the Animals you engineer ?

Can you use them or do they have to be sold to CH's in order for them to become pets ? If this is the case are many of you CH's as well ?

If you release them, do they die or is there any chance (maybe in the future) that they will cross breed with something else out there ?

Are they generaly stronger than whats out there (ie from what they were taken from) ?

This is a profession that i have not even considered, however after reading some of the emails there certainly seems to be some passion in this skill

Talent is not what counts, its what you do with it that does.

Some creatures get recycled, in otherwords we sample frome them in hopes to make a like creature with lower requirements, others are sold and some just sit around the house looking all wild eyed and crazy.

I am not a CH, but i have lots of friends that are. some BE's are CH's as well but not all.

When you release a creature it basicly poofs out of the game.

Yes BE creatures can be MUCH stronger and deadlier then some of the creatures in the wild, but not all.

Thanks leothric.

What other proffessions are commonly used to back up BE.

Is there much money in it as well ? I'm not to fussed about making millions, i just like time vs. reward to be fair.

When I was BE, I had CH to allow me to use the critters I created. I figured what's the fun in making something if you can't use it?

In the past, CHs could go out, find a baby graul mauler that wasn't as strong as, say a Bio-Engineered Rancor, but was inexpensive and powerful in its own right.

With the nerf-fix of CH, their tamed pets have become severely weakened to the point of being un-usuable. This opens up a grand market for Bio-Engineered pets, that if done right, can produce some very powerful pets. The price of such a pet would undoubtedly be very high and quite profitable.

That being said, you can be a good BE or a bad BE. A good BE spends time tinkering with their trade, in order to perfect a creature for personal use or sale. A bad BE just makes a bad pet and hope that someone would be fool enough to buy it.
