Have any of my fellow BE encountered any trouble with their high lvl 'aggressive' skin clones sold to customers?

I am a MBE/MCH and am unable to call a fully grownCL68 'Kimogila' I made (post patch obviously). Its says I lack the required skill to tame, so I am assuming its is a bug relating to the way +taming vicious creatures worked pre-patch, but Im not absolutely sure so could do with some more info. The situation is worrying me as I have sold some high CL stuff in agressive skins and I am awaiting a stampede of irate customers over the next few days if they cant call their pets!

As a human (no bonus to taming chance) I can definitely call a CL63 'aggressive', someone in another thread said they could call their CL67, so it makes me wonder if CL68 is the cut-off point...

Any input appreciated.

Well, I'm not MCH yet, but my Max Pet Levels is 47, and after my Kimogila grew up (CL46) I can't call him anymore. Assuming its a bug, but I will try again tomorrow after the servers come back, and if it still doesn't work I was thinking of taking it to the Creature Handler trainer and see what he gives me in return hehe.

You get like.... lvl 50 aggressive, 70 taming non-viscious, at master CH.

I'm afraid you have to pick up taming clothes to get rid of the visciousness factor screwing with you(and hope it doesn't go beyond what clothing can put you at)

Second hand knowledge is not always accurate, your mileage may vary.

Like I said, I believe it is the +taming vicious creatures modifier causing the problem, but the fact is it shouldnt be. The important number to look at now is the max CL you can use (CL70) at master. With the new patch, the taming wild and taming vicious modifiers should be irrelevant to what you can control now and only effect your chance of a successful tame attempt.

You still get the modifiers.

I doubt they removed their relevance.

But that is thepoint, they were supposed to remove their relevance with regard to what you can tame. As Thunderheart said the new max pet lvl number"refers to the max level of pet that you can tame. One skillmod to rule them all."

Taming Vicious/Wildshould only effect the chance of a successful tame attempt, it seems 'taming vicious' may be blocking off the aggressive skins/creatures from people who should be able to tame them.

Further update, I also cannot call a CL66 'Angler'. Same "you lack the skill..." message.

Has anyone else encountered this situation in other skins yet?

Weird as all hell, because last night I had a master CH train a viscious CL 10 for me, and I don't have ANY viscious taming skill.

Definitely a bug. I'd report it in game if you want to.
