its been awhile since ive played the game and now with the new patch, im not sure about a few things. i am wanting to order some pets from a be, but i dont know what to ask for.

what kind of limits are there with hams, special attacks, resists, armor, etc.? what about other factors such as ferocity, speed, and damage? also, is there a way to get the pet to not run away when it gets hit one time?

what specific limits are there for a level 65 pet? (assuming i can get a shirt with +15 ch mod)

what are the limits for a level 50 pet?

can a level 5 dewback be mountable?

sorry for the numerous questions and also if they have been asked before. ima little limited on the amount of time i can be on the internet atm and need these answered so i can place an order in.

thx in advance for the respones.

Everything but ferocity can be altered.

The new system for CL ratings works by giving values for every aspect of the animal, this means that all CL50 or whatever mobs in the game are equally powerful. This leads to it being impossible for one pet to be overall more powerful than one of an equal rating. The difference is HOW the stats are arranged for the animal, this leads to pets being focussed towards certain types of roles. Focussing on kinetic protection means that you need to be weakened elsewhere. Focussing on all around balance means that the stats for induvidual aspects will be lower than if you focussed on them. Also the maximum cap for pets is now CL70 and the CH mod clothing has utterly no bearing on what CL you can control, all it does is increase the success rate of taming not the actual level you can tame.

If it's a dewback then it's mountable reguardless of the CL rating. CL2 or CL70... it doesn't matter.
