I believe at last count, the number of clones that you need to make to Master BE is just over a kabillion. To get to Cloning 2, it will only "seem" like a kabillion...but it is actually about third of a kabillion.

But there is hope, my friend. Apparently, with the next big patch, we are getting some sort of XP bone thrown our way. The size of this bone is unknown, but even if it is only 10%, at least that's 10% less of the kabillion that you will need for Master.

Also, you may want to try to find another BE that is at the same level as you. This way, you can trade DNA Templates and earn more XP.

chances are they'll make it worse for bio engineers by making them need to collect something else THAN flora and meat

Some Creatures are still broken... (too many creatures in this container)

sampling creatures, and crafting DNA templates, is a horrible way to get XP now. Try making constrictor cloth instead. Costs much more (since sampling is free), but much faster.

Try crafting from the tissue side of the house. Unless of course you still need sampling xp. For crafting xp the tissue side is a lil less xp but much easier to do. I too was trying to craft creature side, but was taking way too long. Now I make about 80k crafting xp a day..usually about 4 hours of grinding. You will need a bazzilion meat/hides/bone though.

ok, this may seem silly, but how do you "grind"?I've heard it but i don't know what it means, and if it means making a macro to craft... MOTHER OF JEHOSEPHAT!! that would help tremendously than just taking three crafting tools and going through each one in a row.

For a good grinding macro, go to the weaponsmiths forum. should be on the first page it keeps getting bumped. uses 5 tools and cycles through fairly fast. Trick for BE is to use Micro Nutrient Suppliments (35 flora - 15 Meat ) as your schematic and hopefully have stacks of the same type of flora and meat over 10k but in that same ratio (35kf 15km). Using this macro, and having slowed it down due to my computers mouse beinga total piece of junk, even with a few seconds added if I dont try to chat while grinding I can do 30-40k xp an hour. Beauty of the macro if you can find it is that it is resulting in practice items. Means more xp.

I will check this thread later and try to post the macro if I find it again

Grinding is litterally sitting there for a good amount of time and "Grinding out objects" constantly.

I mastered BE about 2.5 - 3 weeks after I started. Here's somethings I did to speed it up.

Max Sampling fast, this will go fast on it's own. If you are doing this solo, sample the pets you make back into DNA, you can usually get 1-5 samples out of it before it poofs.

It you have a guild or a big group of friends, hand the pets off to a CH and Power Level them as well, they should harvest meat to return to you.

Sample nothing but Yard Trash, Gnorts and such. Have a friend make you a medical driod and craft critters while you are letting your mind regen.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You CAN harvest dead sampled creatures, there is no radial for it so make a macro for /harvest meat. You can be VERY independant this way. You shouldn't have to be running around anywhere other than the Newbie Yard.

Always wear a BE title, you wll get requests for house pets, and you can make a little money.

At this point if you just want to plain grind creating creatures will not get you there. There are a few good ideas already mentioned here. What Iused to do is create constrictor cloths and hand them over to my crafting partner who sticks it in armor and/or tailor pieces. I get 250xp total per contrictor cloth with the uxp.

Barring that and if you still want to create creatures, get a smuggler friend supply you with gray gabaki which boosts your focus and some mind. This will make your mind bar last longer and regen faster and it allows for a lot of DNA sampling and less downtime regenerating your mind bar. I used to do runs with this drug of about 50 samples then create the templates, rinse/repeat.

Why will grinding tissue for 100xp (with no user xp) get me Master BE faster than grinding creatures for 400 in a newbie yard? Granted it takes some time to get the DNA samples but in a newbie yard if you can't find a critter and get a sample at DNA 4 your doin something wrong...

And you can Harvest the dead Sampled animals for meat.

I made a quarter of a kabillion critters before I realized I could make the coffee pots of green powder (bio suppliment or something like that). Of course the coffee pots are totally useless but you do get points for making them. I ended up with a basement full of them and no one to give them too. The two chefs I know just point and laugh.

Because it doesn't give you 400xp after the patch. Either that or you're crafting a creature no one else here knows about Maybe in the higher levels you can get this, but I doubt it. At clone 3 my bolma only nets me 250xp or so... a constrictor cloth with uxp on a tailor gives me as much, plus it uses less meat.
