I am very curious about ranged attacks. What type are they and when you put a ranged attack in a skin which normally has no ranged attack, what type of attack is it.
I know as a Master CH and a Master BE I should know this, but of late I have spent so much time in the laboratory and in the field gathering samples I have not made and tested any of the new creations.
Anyone been able to calculate the damage of the ranged attack?

Most mobs Ive been attacked by with ranged spew some kind of green slime when doing so. I havent been able to see this on any of my ranged attack creations. Its probably skin specific in some way.

My razor cat has a ranged attack and it doesnt really do anything special other than growl at the target.

There seems to be two forms of ranged attack, from what I can tell the ranged attack can result in status effects from special attack 2. That is why you will sometimes find yourslef being diseased or poisoned from being hit with a ranged attack. The other form simply causes damage but I think those are just times when the status effect doesn't stick.
