Ive recently made some crates of Constricor cloth. They came out 25 per crate and +7 on the cloth. I have a buyer for these that are willing to pay me 2500 credits per crate. As I have no idea if this is good or bad, im hoping for your everlasting knowledge to sheer some enlightenment on the subject

Well, letstake a rough look at what it costs to make.

Constrictor cloth takes 30 CreatureResources (Meat) and 20 Flora

The flora can be gathered from a harvester while the meat is harvested from butched citters. If we factor in the time/costs we might make these say 5 credits per creature resoure and 3 credits per flora resource. This is pretty cheap I think but we'll go with it for this discussion.

This would make 1 constrictor cloth cost 20x3 + 30x5 = 210 credits each.

Now, for 25 of thse we get 25x21 = 5250

As you can see from this, I'd say you price is a tad on the cheep side. It really depends on the server though. Take a look on the bazaar or Miner Vendors and see what price they are changing for these resources.

If you base your price on this you should be able to come up with a good price!

Thanks Rickwook! Really shedded some light on how to price these. But somewhere along the line there must be a difference between a Con. Cloth +4 and a Con. Cloth +7? Pricewise I mean. Anyone have a good way of figureing out how to use the numbers on this?

That's a fair way of pricing it out. I just charge 150 credits per plus on the cloth.

150 x +7 = 1050 per cloth. 1050 x 25 = 26250 per crate.

just a thought. i dont sell many whole crates. cant find anyone who wants that many but do sell them in groups of 5 to 10.

Kabar, if the tissue has multiple skills (like Injury Treatmjent and Wound treatment) do you charge 150 for each of these pluses of the avergae of them?

As for pricing with regards to final quality you may want to do a little research

First, troll this forum and look for any threads that have 'My best mod for Constrctor Cloth' or something similar. What this will give you is what is the maximum modification you can achieve at Master level. Now, if you use the resource costing formular given above, we set this to be the maximum price chargable.

Lets use an example.

For the case of your constrictor cloths. Letssay that the best Constrictor Cloth is +15 (A pure guess, I'm not sure whatthe best is for these).

Using the price from above the MAX price is 210 credits. Your cloth is +7 which makes this roughly slightly less than half. So, in this case, this would make you Tissue 100 credits.

As it happens, if we take your Crate into consideration, this would come out to a price of 2500 which is what the guy originally offered!! Keep in mind that +15 is a guess. I have no idea what the real max is.

I charge 200 per point, so if I have a + 16, it is 3200.

I sell mainly crates and the tailors insist on them.

Keep in mind, you can not make great tissue without great components in large quantities. You can not find a continuous supply of stuff "on planet". Get the mind set up front that the Tailors will want large amounts of high grade tissues and are willing to pay to get them. Even the ones that leave you for price will return for availability.
