I know this is probably going to be subject to change soon, but for the current system I am curious:

does the full stats of the dna matter, or only the stats for the slot it is being put into. i.e.

VHQ CL 50 dna with 900+ in hardiness and fortitude, 600-700 in all the rest in the physical slot

VHQ CL 50 dna with 900+ in dexterity and endurance, 600-700 in all the rest in the prowess slot

VHQ CL 50 dna with 900+ in intelect and cleverness, 600-700 in all the rest in the mental slot

Assuming same combine and experimentation results (great), and same resourcse for final combine... is that going to produce the same Ham say... gurreck. as a gurreck with the template made out of ALL 900s VHQ cl50 dna?

Well the question was largely based around a situation like i had last night where I had 2 VHQ CL50 dna with similar dext and end stats

937 dext
927 endurance
Several other 900+ stats, and a few 700-800

VS

937 dext
983 Endurance
All other stats were 600-700

Now, given the difference in the side stats vs the difference in the action stats, which of these would best serve the pet as a whole in the prowess slot do you think?

On the whole only the dna in the regions that apply to the slot the dna is going into matter, however there has been indications of a small amount of the other stats carrying over to the overall result. The difference is negligable unless you use alot of dna which is weak except in the area you want. Stick to v. high dna and you can't really go wrong.
