What creature aspects do you think will be the most desired from our new clones?

I'm thinking...

Armor, Kinetic Resistance, Poisonand either Knockdown or Dizzy. (For melee tanks anyways)

What other creature features are going to be popular?

Intimidate and Blind are amazing.

At least, they're amazingly bad when critters do them to me...but then again, I'm a pikeman so anything that reduces my already pitiful accuracy is a serious problem...

The common case, though, seems to be using the pet to tank while the handler plinks from range. For that, it's really all about "HAM / (1 - EffectiveResistance)". EffectiveResistance is given by combining the pet's resistance to the damage of the attacker (almost always kinetic in PvE), then factoring in any armor differences.

On the other hand, if we're able to raise a pet's damage output to the point that it can deal damage as fast as a player, that would be SERIOUSLY sought-after, because then you wouldn't need to have a combat class above and beyond CH...

For pet #1:

First and foremost, I'd want kinetic resists with armor.

Secondly, I'd like DOT attacks (poison spray from BDQ and disease from RSM) to go along with my bleeds.

For pet #2:

I'd want the highest damage output possible.

As for specials, I'd like an AOEdizzyand knockdowngo to alongwith my AOE delay shot.

I suspect each MCH would have uniquedesires for custom pets.

Also the skin of the animal needs to be fast. Some can't keep up with normal walking, let alone mounted. Then you have the ability to color, which is going to be a huge selling point. I imagine their will be few wild caught pets in use after this patch.

As to features, well pets are tanks. So armor and resists are good. Then you have things that lowers the targets damage output like knockdown or intemidate. Pets really don't do that much damage compared to PCs, so even a good DoT attack isn't that helpful unless it is very strong. Then it would need to match the type of bleed the owner does for full effectiveness. I believe it is mostly random though. So strong poison will be a big request, specially with ranged animals that can attack after the tank animal. The combos will be big.

It'll depend on the person ordering and the purpose for the pet. Dizzy and KD is good for meat shields, disease and open wounds is great for PvP harrasment, intimidation and blind is an alternative for meat shields too plus it's got some good PvP applications. In the end there's alot of combination but you can bet that stun attaks aren't going to be that demanded since stun is rarely any good.
