Just use a calculator.. (total exp needed/however much exp a MNS gives) * however much meat and flora a MNS uses.

well, lest do a little math here...

a MNS nets you 103-105 xp per unit. it consumes 15 meat, and 15 flora, as well as 20 'organic' (i like to use wood, as it is otherwise useless to me and i have a lot of it). from 0-4 in the cloning line you need 170K crafting xp. taking the low estimate of xp (difference depends on experimentation), that is roughly 1821 MNS needed to be craft to reach cloning 4.

that breaks down to: 27315 Meat, 27315 flora food, and 36420 'organic'

this is of course if you plan on not failing. to be on the safe side i'd throw in at least an extra 10%.

the no-meat option is to go around and sample DNa, then make templates from the DNA. this consumes nothing but that which you get yourself, and it gets you sampeling XP as well (i prefer to do this on missions to get $ as well).

to expedite the process, there are some macros for the crafting and the sampeling. i however think that the grinding is more fun if you accomplish it yourself.
