Kel addressed this problem directly and his answer was not 'no'

he said that he would look into trying to make this happen, but that it wasnt a simple thing to do.. assumablybecause the creators name is no longer stored anywhere in the DB after the creature "deed" is tamed. i payed a lot of atention to this answer because i was the one who originally suggested it.

I know in an ealier posting from Talth we were asking about if a pet could retian it's creator's name after it was tamed. I don't recall exactly, but I believe that the answer was no, and it wasn't going to (not taht harsh obviosly) and we accepted it. On the DE board, I see a post from TH, and it says that they're working on having the DE's name retained as creator after the droid is tamed. Is there that much difference between droid a creatures? If there is, kewl, if not, are it being looked at for us as well? Don't get me wrong, I know taht DE's need MUCH lovin, and I'm giddy with the cloning changes comeing to live soon...just a curious question.

Since it's looking like they are changing droids to function more like true pets instead of a seperate thing, I'm assuming that a simple fix like this to DE deeds would also carry over to BE deeds pretty easily.
