Thread: I'm almost novice BE, but I'm not sure I want it... I need some advice please
So could you please tell me what is cool in that profession, and what is not cool.
is it a kind of artisan, but with pets and stuff, or is it different.
what do BE use to "craft" pets ?
what are the best skills to raise first ? and why ?
what will I be able to do with novice BE 0000 ? except petstims ?
btw, I'm going to Master CH (probably in 3 or 4 days - thanx to voritors

This is a discussion about the basics of cloning and what's involved. Look at swgbio.com to get an idea about what can be done with engineered tissues and pet stims are self explanitory.
Whats cool? You get to make better pets than what can be tamed in the wild. BE is one of the few professions that requires some thought and planning, so the fun factor lasts much longer. Whats not cool? You will become very familiar with the cloning center on the planet you are sampling on. So, leave your good equipment at your house when you go sampling.
To make pets you will need 5 DNA samples, flora and creature (meat) resources.
There isn't that much you can make at novice. I would encourage you to go up in experimentation first. That will give you more experimentation points to work with when you start making pets.
BE/CH is a very good combo. It will give you some protection when you are out sampling.
