Thread: How utterly disapointing
well... I got master scout, went out and sampled mutant rancors, and got VHQ dna with 1800 in all but prowess which had 1700 total...
combine... and the end result was no better than when I simply made gurrecks and sampled them. Actually I got a lesser result =/. Kind of disapointing.
I thought the CL of the dna mattered alot. Maybe i got a crappy initial combine... only ended up in the 50-55% area on initial combine.
Instead of makina bunch of threads, all my wandering thoughts will go here...
OMG!!! just sampled a gualama and got 1009 for power. hehe. 793 for fierce and that adds up to 1800.. wonder if it will turn out like it should or be bugged.. thought 1001+ was impossible.
Well tried again. Got another group of VHQ dna all with 1800 or better this time. great success on initial combine. stats bit a fat one. Physique was 47% before experimentation...
so far this evidence is showing that CL70 mutant rancor dna is not any better than dna gathered from trash gurrecks made out of gnort dna.
granted this is a moot point since it will all change soon. =P But all the posts i read about how using higher CL dna on a lower lvl pet made a huge diff ...
only seems to make a difference to me if you use LOWER lvl dna ona higher lvl pet... not the other way around.
OK.. so far my math has shown me that each slot has a specific weight in other slots.
i.e. the psych has a definite weight on the mental slot, larger than the other slots, and a medium weight it seems on the prowess slot, with minimal weight in the physical
Aggro slot has a definite noticable weight on the phys slot. medium weight on prowess and light weight in mental
Does the new cloning system at least show us the weights of the stats within each slot (like every other crafting class gets). Or is it blind also?
I thought those changes to Bio-Eng weren't in game yet...
I haven't come here in a while, I'm probably wrong.

Nec, I'd suggest reading some of the threads from about a month ago, then reading all of the sticky threads at the top of this board before posting. Your observations, to be unfortunately blunt, are not going to be useful for more than about a week, and have been covered before on this very board. Check out the 'cloning tips from a fallen master' thread... very good information on how to make a halfway decent pet in this new system. Elsewise check out the newer threads in the sticky part of this board and you'll find a much better system is about to come into place sometime this month (unless the entire publish gets pushed to next month).

would for a freaking *edit* button.
remove "new system" insert "current system" for first occurance of "system".

"So, unless he is on TC most of the work he is doing now will be completely changed in a couple of weeks."
I doubt the dna will be COMPLETELY changed. The ham and aggro is very likely still going to be effected the same by the stats that remain in the dna. I see no reason why they would change that. It's simply that the numbers will be easier to figure out because they are going to be more accurately reflected based on CL.

I have read those, and I read the fallen observations, although I found some of them to be deceptive. Using low CL dna in the aggro slot even if it is VHQ dna wiht 950 in both stats will seriously impact your physique result.
Why do you just bash my thread? I am not flaming. I'm making perfectly good observations, and the only observations that are not going to remain possibly useful are the ones about using higher lvl CL dna on pets to cap them out. This is still useful for people who are making pets right now. I just can't understand why people come to a logical constructive thread and waste space by degrading it for no good reason whatsoever. Save your cynicism and bad attitude for the trolls please.
Using level 60 DNA to make a Level 50 Creature is not going to make any difference, than if you used level 50 DNA.
The only differance comes in when you use DNA below the level of the creature you are trying to make.
Trying voritors now. Man either mobs created by missions suck, voritor lizards suck or i'm just having bad luck.
Sample 20 dna and get 1 VHQ dna with really crappy stats on it from voritor hunters.
