Thread: I AM SO MAD
Our city is having a grand opening today. I spent hours hunting down UBER DNA. My first Rancor that I put togethertoday with the absolute VERY BEST dna that I had on handwas going to have the very best stats (maybe the best Rancor I've made yet). I LOST THE DNA TO A CRITICAL FAILURE. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. That is the absolute worst. Does any other crafting profession have to spend hours to create a single item that can be lost at the whim of critical failure?ARRRRRRRRRRRRR

Yeah, i crtitical failed 2 houses in a row
Truth be told I've found if I'm using the absolute best DNA in my bag I am gauranteed to critical fail.
Maybe the game keeps track of what quality DNA the bio engineer has used, and automatic crit-fails on the first use of higher than normal quality DNA? I dunno, just seems like it does that to me.

PS: Anyone else ABSOLUTELY FREAKING HATE this whole automatic doublespace thing on the boards here?

Having played both professions... while they are different, the "sick to your stomach" feeling is the same

This is why it's sometimes handy to get some good tools to minimize the criticals.
+42 Private Station. +14.88 Tool.
I crit failed on a PA Hall once. That really sucked.

Tal - I tell ya, its almost the OPPOSITE with quality tools and stations. I have a 14.3 tool and 43.2 station and I crit fail a LOT more with them than I do with my crafting droid or on public stations.
