When are the Dev's going to fix all these bugs with very limited supplies has anyone heard?

Over the weekend some friends of mine have found adequate amounts of mollusk. I'd never seen it before then all of a sudden people are giving it to me in stacks of 20 to 40 units. I don't know where they got it but they aren't exploiters so I know its legit.
