Im just thinking that this is going to be so complex for our customers for a while. It may be good to see if we can come up with an email template that is like a brief explanation of how we make a pet - how they can order the pet from us. This is gonna be crazy (and fun) to start with cuz folks are gona say i want a rancor and then we are gonna say what level - then they are gonna say what level can you make - and we are gonna say any level you want(well almost any level) - ok cl 40 - what color - what colors do you have - what specialscan i get - well that depends on what cl level you want -and this goes on for quite sometime -

I posted on my server forum a message about all of the BE's getting together and forming a commitee of sorts to establish a pricing scheme but haven't gotten much response yet. Basically this patch will give us a way to be competative without undercutting each other. As such I think we could definately get a good price list together based on all the various qualities we'll be able to manipulate. I hope the thread gains popularity.

Anytime I ever saw a price fixing attempt by any crafting profession was met with flames all over. You can try to fix all you want, but there will be undercutters no matter what. Just advertise alot and you should do fine.

I agree there will always be undercutters, but as it stands now . if u go into a Weaponsmith shop . The standard price on a Laser carbine say is between 12 - 15k (non krayt of course). and that is pretty universal by server and planets in each one. and for a while i was starting to see standard prices pop up for BE creatures. (with exceptions to Kimo) . so i see no reason we can't say .. XXX is a reasonable price for this.. etc etc . and if someone wanst to charge less . thats all fine too . regardless the market will eventually rule and then even a non-stated standard will arise minor +/-depending on specific buyer / seller. might as well we all get started on it early and get at least a clue.

Even the mount craze ended in a fairly good standard of what the market would bare. hehe although it was nice selling those very first couple fully tamed trained mounts with in minutes of servers going live for 100k a pop = )

What I was looking for was actually some basics first - before we even get to prices. As an example -your sitting in Coronet out in front of the starport - do you yell:

Selling 1 Primarily (Rancor based DNA CL 40 / Redish Pink Gurreck husk combo) pet with Dizzy and KD specials - 100K - PST

Well I'm probably going to make up a website listing the colors and some basic facts for the clones, I don't think I'll be able to get all 66 clones into my showroom now even though I have more space cause i moved my lab into Thalia's cloning centre.

Under the live sytem, I usually just ask my customers whether they'd like a damage increase or a HAM increase, as this is fairly predictable. They ask for High damage, they expect lower ham, vice versa. Now, with the new system... for the first couple days or so I'm just going to ask what CL they are looking for and mess around with templates to try and get something in that range. Any further customization requests, besides color, will drive me insane until we can get the new system ironed out.

For the first few days I'm just going to experiment to see what I can make, pass all clones to a merchant friend of mine and set an AFK message saying I'm busy experimenting to find the best creatures. As I make them they will be passed to him to sell on.

Then he gets the sales and hopefully can make me a list of what people want (as if I didn't know).

Light armour 75% Kinetic Resistand or800+ damage and strong poison/bleed and or Knockdown.

First person that asks me for something different I'll probably make itjust for the hell of it.
