I managed a Bantha CL7 2.5k/2k/2k 30-40damage and 19 Kinetic and Dizzy strike

AndaKwi CL8 2k/2.3k/2k 30-40damage and20 Kinetic and Knockdown

They weremade from 2nd/3rd gen Mountain Dewback DNA (With no experimentation for the first generation) and a couple of Crit fails in the experimentation that dropped a secondary stat to 1.

This has probably been noticed before but the second stat in the first 3 stat pairs appears to have no effect on HAM it all come off the first number in each pair.

I haven't checked you but I'm wondering whether the second health stat determines whether you get your special in 1 e.g. 50 needed for Stun, 100 needed for Intimidate etc. That sort of thing with Poison spray or similar needing 900+ in the secondary stat or something equally unachievable. Plus there is its known/assumed association with light armour.

Got myself thinking now wonder if its as simple as

Health

Speical 1/armour

Action

Attack Speed

Mind

To Hit

Ranged Attack/Morale

Ranged Attack/Morale

Damage/Second

Special 2

Any thoughts on this anyone?

I've been making creatures out of Rock Beetles and Scyks mixed together.

Start with 3 Scyk and 2 Beetle (in that order) This gives you the scyks med poison, and the beetles crip strike and ranged attacks. Then I sample 5 dna from the creature and try again. Keep doing this till I get a L10 or under pet.

Takes a bit of time, but I usually end up with:

L8-10
1500HAM approx.
150-160 Dmg
Medium Poison
Crippling Strike
Ranged Attacks
Done with Skins: Bantha, Falumpaset, Kima, Jax, Durni, Gurrcat, Dewback

One thing I noticed, is that most of the time when I got the creatures down under 10, I would fail in the experimenting stage at least once, and a dna stat would drop to 1. If it was still one when I finished the creature, it would be under L10. I have tested these guys and they are not invalid.

Another thing that is interesting, is if you have no resists, you will end up with 1 for each resist when the creature is created. Now, if you sample 5 dna from that pet, and recreate it, the resists go to 2. Repeat. I got them up to 5 before I crit failed on creation of the pet. hehe
