Thread: DNA Sample listings
Well, I'm not really sure if this will be highly utilized or not, but I have added it in none the less.
You will now find an Add Sample link on www.swgcreatures.com. This will allow you to input DNA data for creatures.
Eventually, I will add in search options for this, as well as averages per sample quality. And once more data is collected as to the formulas, potentially a DNA combiner that will allow you to try out different combinations of DNA data.
Hopefully this will be a nice tool to use. Right now it's fairly limited as I want to see how helpful it will really be to have this data before I spend a lot of time implementing other features around the DNA samples!
As always, comments, suggestions and other feedback is welcome!
Excellent idea, it will be nice to be able to find out the min and max levels of each stat, as well as the average so I know what I can expect to sample from each critter.
Examples would be searching for AR0 creatures with high fortitude that we may be able to experiment over 500 and give AR1.
One small error though (probably just a typo), hardiness apears twice, I believe the second should be Fierceness.

Great IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!! Adding in my current piket/grual mauler dna now. BTW there are 2 Piket Plains Walker on the drop down list. I'll skip that till the end.

In order to have some preliminary way to get to samples, you can do a search using the Advanced Search feature. Under DNA Samples, select YES and you will be presented with a list of creatures that have DNA Sample data entered. Click the creature to view the details, then click View DNA Samples to see the sample data entered.

do what i do print screen each one and then after your done playing go to the site and update. I've added a good bit and plan on updateding more tonight

Well, www.swgcreatures.com now has DNA searching! Want to find all creatures with AR1 and 600+ Cleverness? As usual, just use the Advanced Search link!
Also, you will now see a small icon in the creature listings - check it that will alert you to a creature in the listing with DNA data available. Either click the DNA link from the details page or just click on the icon to see the DNA data for the creature.
You will see averages for each sample quality listed, as well as each sample taken!
I will hopefully have a Template creation tool in place soon that will allow you to simply pick your creature and sample quality and have it generate a possible combination.
The more data that is entered, the more accurate the listings, so help out by entering in your sample data!

I entered in the DNA that I had on me .. and I'll enter more as I get it.
One suggestion .. would it be possible to have an 'add another' link when we view the detail DNA? Just so we dont' have to pick the creature from the drop down again.

When/if you get around to it, could you include the average sample quality as a single line on the creatures details page please?
