I started Bio-Engineer cause the durn blue reubix cube told me to. At first I was really mad cause I had heard many evil things about how much BE sucked. Well now that I am a Master BE I am VERY reluctant to give up. You guys who have gotten Master BE for fun ROCK. This is the ULTIMATE crafting profession. You have so much control over what you make creature wise it just amazing. Depending on what my next holo says I am seriously thinking of keep Master BE not only for the money but also for the fun and enjoyment of crafting. I would have to say that Master BE's deserve more respect than they are given. So here is my humble shout out to all you Master BE's out there, keep up the good work and I will always have a special place for this profession in my lizard heart.

Control?

Partial Control yes, but the Creature Level is a bit wiggy as is the resistances and HAMs.

Like I say on other posts, I can use almost the exact same DNA of the exact same quality and still get huge differences.

IF we say had a way to have a creature in a cloning VAt of some sort and where able to grow modifications on something by feeding materials and components to it over a period of time to create better armor or Better resistances or Better HAMs that would be a nice cure for some of those strange random things.

Another nice thing is if we had a Creature/Difficulty Level box Displayed at all times during the Crafting process and no I am not talking about that ill fated crafting difficulty number.

That way we could plug in DNA see what would be the average number of the Creature level and work from there, making it alot easier to tailor make things for people with specific skills.

Heck Any of these would probably help the Development team squash some of the crafting bugs and make it possible for them to test easier future DNA and Creature Type changes.

Oh well...I guess this means you will leave this proffesion, sorry to see you go...

Plageron, thats what separates us from the other crafting classes. A very organized and skilled Bio-Engineer stands miles above his competitors.

Every BE crafted pet is unique and there are no standard "recipes" for any particular pets. Mixing DNA from diferent species is an art form. I persoanly have a bag halfway full of pet deeds that are not for sale but are reserved for re-sampling. On some of them I got resists perfect for PvP or PvE. On others I got special attacks and ranged attack jsut like I want it . On others the CL and armor rating are just right. Plus I have 3 bags I keep stocked with different DNA samples: one bag for CL40+ DNA, one for high kinetic resist DNA, and one or low level DNA (<CL40).

Armorsmiths and Weaponsmiths all make the same stuff and one FWG5 maye be better then another by 5 or 6 dmg points. The only way these guys can get the advantage over another is by hoarding good resources to use after they shift out or jumping on new resources that shifts in before their competitors do.
