I made a level 9 kaadu and thought it was good for a non CH mount.

Then I try to tame it and it sais level 0(9)

Can I still mount this one or can i better throw it way.

Ooh yheah one other thing. Non CH's have been able to use level 13 pets, how is that possible?

They shouldnt be able to use a CL13. I dont know how thats possible.

And as for yours. That means its the first day it was tamed. You need to let it grow in your datapad for a couple days. Aroudn day 3 or 4 you can give it to a master CH to be trained how to be a mount. Its not fully grown on day 1

The lower level pets report themselves as level 0 when first tamed. Given time, they will grow some and that will become level 1, then 2, etc. until full grown.

nonCH's can not use level13 pets when full grown. But any character, including nonCH's can use nonaggresive pets that are CL10 or less incluing a CL50 pet that is still growing and it currently only CL8. If they have such a pet in their datapad they have until it reach CL10 to get a Master CH to train it the transfer command after which they can sell it to someone who can use it. Once the levle of the pet in theri datpad grows past CL10 they can no longer use it.

pemphigus, I take it you made that kaduu prior to the BE fix? Certain BE pets made before the December Patch are showing up as (0) level creatures. Ther are people running around with full grown rancors and gurrecks which would've been cL50 under the old system. They are showing as CL (0) now.

This is definitely a bug. The smart thing would be to not use it and hope it gets fixed or better off delete it. I wouldn't be suprised to see the people on my server gt banned for what they are doing with these pets, especially becasue they don't require any ch skill to use.

There's definitely a new bug allowing non-CH's to call CH only pets.

A guildmate demonstrated that he was still able to call his pets after dropping CH skill, although he could no longer tame new pets. (He has reported the bug).

I think this went in with the patch on the 8th. - guess they'll fix it with next week's patch.

As for pre-patch pets. I have about 50 of these (I was making blurgs for DNA extraction prior to the patch). I couldn't sample them but found the CL0 problem others reported. After a time this appeared to be fixed (or at least a only a display problem) the pets appeared to behave as if they were the correct level as far as calling, taming, HAM ,etc were concerned, but still couldn't be sampledso have gone on my vendor with a suitable warning message.

If non-CH's can tame/use these pets again then it is a re-emergance of a bug which was fixed a week after the BE patch went live. (I'm a tad ticked off about this - I don't want to exploit, but I don't want to delete several dozen correctly stated and CL'd pets either).

I've seen this CL 0(10) (as an example) bug. The pet will display CL 0 in the datapad (not sure about when its examined). It will grow over the course of a coupl eof days (you can see the HAM and the damage increase), and when it had been given enough time (usually a few days) to have reached full growth it will read as CL 10 like its supposed to.

I have yet to see one that didn't show its proper CL at full growth and I have yet to see this with a pet that was higher than CL 10.
