Thread: Some Advice on What is a legal Bio Eng Pet Please

Hi,
Not being a Bio-engineer myself I'm afer some advice after being slightly confused by the latest hotfix. For some reason I can no longer call my Level 16 Gurcatt with 6k of HAM on each bar and protections ranging from 7 - 20% as its "stats are invalid" while someone I ran into had A Gurcat with 10k HAM and protections ranging from 50 - 80% which they were able to call. Has anyone established yet what it is that makes the bio eng pets "invalid" and how do I spot one when purchasing it?

Sorry no. Whats more it seems like there are creature weaker than there wild counterpart for the CL which are showing as "invalid". Expecta couple of rounds of fixes before it settle down and you get something that won't be pulled out from under you. I'm not sure you'll ever be safe buying a pet if there isn't some form of statement from Sony as to what theyconsider to be fair or not.

Sigh.....who the heck knows what is considered good or bad.
I am under a stronger suspicion the patches are being made to create more chaos then anything else.
Oh well I play FFXI and it does not have these problems.

It seems obvious to me that the devs play their macho uber characters and don't spend a lot of time, thought or effort on the likes of BE or CH. My advice is don't buy any cloned pets period. I'd even becareful spending much for tissue enhanced clothing and the like (they may be the next nerf target). I am a BE but must face the cold hard facts. The class is so messed up that other then pet stims, (another future nerf target?), we have no validity what so ever. I have told all my friends and customers that I am not cloning until things stablize.

I don't think even the devs know 
My holo said MA, so I'm thinking of grinding that till the BE debacle blows over...

I also think you should not buy any be pets until soe gives some sort of word. As it is right now, AFAIK, the pet creation portion of the be class is 100% unusable do to the potential nerf of any pet we make.
BE was a broken class before, now it is even more broken.
