I think it has been brought up before in the tailor forum, but I’m not sure about in the BE forums.

I think it would be really cool if they allowed BEs to make fire resistant tissues for clothing.

I am a tailor so I do not know if this has been asked for on th BE forums, but I think it just makes sense. I am tired of getting flame attacked and think there should be some defense for this in clothing tissues.

Actually, to take this one step further, perhaps with an item from an Armorsmith we could create tissues with base resistances to any damage type (but withno Armor Rating). This would allow tailors to make clothes with (small) innate resists to certain types of damage, kind of like "armor lite". These clothes would decay when they absorb damage, but would offer decent protections. There ya go, repeat business for tailors, bio-engineers, and armorsmiths... sweet!

Hey I think this fire resistant stuff to clothing is a great idea. I can vouch for personal real lifefire fightingthat fire resistant clothes work very well in situations that can get my "future" butt into a big mess. I say BE's should be able to make fire resistant tissues for tailors!

Great idea! I know the Wookies would love these....And some more field wear for maskscent bonuses couldn't hurt either....

CM's are like nukes. You have them just incase you need them, but as soon as you start using yours the other guys start using theirs and everything goes to hell

This is an excellent idea. However shouldn't there also be tissues that resist to almost every status effect? We don't have tissues for poison or disease resistance either. I'd also like to see some terrain negotiation tissues (reinforced fiber panels so light it makes you run faster up hills!).

Tailors also need more clothes that reinforced fiber panels and have more than one slot to stack bonuses with (or "fix" the identical panels from a crate so they stack; doesn't make sense that they don't right now).

http://www.swgbio.com

has really good information on tailoring and BE stuff.

Specifically this:

Looks like pieces like the

Grand Twi'lek Headpiece

Lekku Ys'rak

can have 3 skills maxed out with +9 tissue components. +25 heal/wound, +25 tame, +25 mask scent .... I just wish Wookiees could wear them

Did anyone read the patch notes?

Under the combat section it says,

"Bleed/Fire resistant clothing will now have an effect."

I'm assuming now thatthe bleed tissues also work for fire reisistance.

Pick up brawler and try using warcry. Then tell me how useless warcry BE'd clothing is.
