I totally hear where you're coming from, even took a month or so off and played Knights of the Old Republic....awesome game. Definetly recommend it for anybody wanting to take a break from SWG.

i wouldnt be caught dead playing Everquest or EQ2 when it comes out. talk about boring. once i FINALLY got in the high 50's it wasnt worth the time i wasted in it. this game is way better than MMORPG out now.

Cant wait for LoTR though

I so wanted this game to not suck. I gave it a chance, and then another chance, and then another. Then I stopped playing for a month and found that I had no desire to get back into it.And then I found other games that didn't suck. I played EQ for three years, AC for a year, DAoC for a few months. Tried Planetside. SW-G just doesn't measure up to any of them.

I'll see you all again when LoTR MMORPG comes out. Maybe for EQ2 as well. Good luck and get a life.

Errm, now I didn't play much of KOTOR when my friend brought it round, but I don't remember seeing, or being told about the bit where you become a Bio-Engineer. Please stop trying to compare apples with Oranges.

As for call of duty, if you like games where you shoot people, why didn't you concentrate on the combat professions? In an mmorpg there's a stronger reliance on the player to make the game fun. The game has to be open ended to allow players to do what they want, so players who prefer reacting to things happening are always going to miss out on some of the fun. Personally I've been having great fun in the last couple of days. I started a nice fight between some maulers and an ST patrol while out milking kadus.

Hehe. I'm here because the OTHER game got broing.

After over 18 months of DAoC (be a cookie-cutter character or be a looser) I'm have huge fun here as a BE.A complicated undocumented cloning system filters out the "tell me teh ubah BE template, wow I'm 1337, this sux its so boring" crowd. I now have new food additives to play with, a bunch of new tissues I can make now that milk and shellfish are available, a new market in non-CH clones, chefs and tailors begging to do business with me. Oh, and several mounts and avehicle (with paint job), a fine player city, a wide range of emotes to role play with, a choice of hunting in a group, hunting solo, harvesting, setting up factory runs, crafting one off specials, sampling high level aggros, experimenting with clone templates, ....

Too bad you didnt like it. Bye.

go ahead and move to eq for all i care soon my friends ill be flying in my new tie fighter when swg expansion arrives

dont know AC1 still holds the spot for best MMORPG in my book. it always seemed like something was happening in that game and you could always find something intresting to do. I'd still be there probably if alot of my friends hadnt moved on. SWG is geting there and has alot of potential but probably gona take another year to be worth much.
