I feel sadbecause of the all the devs postes As of late on the DE boards, not a single one for us on this board... got tissue any one??

I think it is because the DE's plans are still in pre-development face. Therefore, the dev's are on the DE forum to get feedback on the new droid changes before they actuarially start programming it.
The BE code on the other hand is in the coding face, our dev is writing up the code that will give us the cloning changes. We could have wish that the same procedure would have been applied with us, but that was not just the way they did things back when the BE plan was laid down.
As a result of a public semi-detail plan existing for DE, it is possible to debate balancing issues as well, something we can first do when our changes actuarially go on to test, along with the proposed CH changes.

And have to remember that we BEs have had some changes made... granted it was stuff like the factories that should have been fixed prior to release, but it was still coding work done specifically for us. I dont think anyone can argue that our brother Engineers could use some love.

Compare to fencer, pikeman, swordsman, any entertainer, merchant. We may not be getting any conversation, but these other professions are getting even less from SOE.

Our changes are already cooking. Hopefully they'll be done soon. That would be a nice birthday present. You probably don't remember how jealous the DE's were when the plans for our changes were announced. It's their turn now. Although I do agree with your main title. Most of the problem doesn't come from our own dev but from the way other areas of the game mess around with our potential markets without consulting us. I'm not sure how to get that changed. It's been that way from the beginning. Maybe with the cloning changes our population will rise to the point where we have a chance of being heard outside our own forum.

BE is a low priority profession. Just look at how long they took to fix factories for BE... couldn't that have been done in a hotfix? Please... if it had been something to do with CH, BH, or the like I bet it would have been fixed up a bit faster .

Not really trying to sound whiny here, but BE is not one of the largest professions... and it is in SOE's best interest to please the majority before the minority (in most cases). Just take a look at how fast small problems are addressed (discounting some, such as pets stopping at boundaries -I suspect they don't know how to fix that, or can't).

We are indeed the lowest priority since typically they fix the more popular professions first as it satisfies more people. On the issue of the melee professions the fact is that they ALL have the same complaints on the whole so they can all be fixed as a lump sum, however bio-engineers and droid engineers have very broad issues and in our case it not only influences other profession in drastic ways but also any changes to us effect the world balance as well. We're not only a low priority.. we're also difficult to fix.

I don't know what you mean here by saying BE is one of the largest professions, indeed, it is not. It may be one of the more complicated professions.. maybe thats what you mean.

I'm happy with SOE's progress with BE sofar.
