4/0/4/0

It makes it easier to keep artisan for surveying. I'm going for master, just to get the dath camo. Plus I actually use traps for fighting. I'm also going to have to pay for waypoints for my flora, or buy it outright, whichwill drive up my costs. Of course, you could master and forget having novice pistoleer or anything.. points wise though, there is no reason for you to master. I'm just going to use hide sales to armorsmtihs to finance my flora obsession

Survaying is a skill youwill use maybe once a month at the most, all you need is to ask someone to survay for you for each shift, pay them around 30k for finding something good and then slap down a load of heavy harvesters and pull around 500,000 units becfore the shift is over. That will last you around 3 months then. The tracking skills really are invaluable now and the ability to see CLs and special moves is very handy.

Also did you know that the Ancient Bull Rancor is 0.95 chance to hit!!

Actually, I consider the wayfairing line of ranger fairly useless (well, make that completely useless actually). Since master scout mask scent is already uber, and with vehicles you can approach even the most dangerous creatures with very little risk of a mask scent break/deathblow, you can safely skip that line of ranger imho.

If you do ranger, I'd recommend 0-0-4-0 for the tracking, creature knowledge, and harvesting that you get. Everything else about ranger is a waste of skill points.

Except that the extra terrain negotiation makes crawling while prone SO much faster. I crawl just as fast as I walk on my BE/Ranger.

I have a question I am a MCH/MBE with Pharm IV. I just dropped all of my combat skills to get novice ranger. My question is with novice ranger what exactly will I be able to see? I have to give up one box of Pharm to get it so I want to make sure it is worth it. Will I be able to see what CL a mob is with novice ranger or do I have to get all 4 boxes in animal detection or whatever it is called? Thanks for the info.

Actually it's master scout to see their CL.

I find being able to track the critters that you want to find, VERY desirable. I hate running about randomly trying to find that arachne widow. Ranger makes finding the needle in the haystack so much faster.

Im actually a Novice Bio-engineer with MAster Sqaud Leader. I know they have nothing to do with each other, but I was a SL first, and wanted to keep it. I know its broken, but hopefully it will be fixed!!

I did BE because it gives the right amount of crafting as well as hunting. I was going Master Pistoleer, and just got tired of running around and killing things....

So, I'm only doing the first 3 boxes of pistol skills in marksman and mastering BE and SL. Thats all of my points.

Well, I have an ALT who is a Master Ranger, working on Master Pistoleer. She's the one I use to harvest large quantities of stuff if I need it.

My other ALT is a Master Architect/Master Tailor. So, guess who made me a +12 Camo/Scent shoulder pad and a +15 skirt for my Wookie Master BE (Working on Master CH)?

Maybe it's not as much fun for me in PvP right now (I'm hoping Master Pistoleer will be *somewhat* functional at least), but I have the best of all worlds right now for harvesting thingies and making stuff.
