Thread: I don't think Noc Cams are bugged
Yeah i know they're not bugged, I tested this recently making several clones and none of them turned out like the bugged ones your seeing around CL10. The flaw here lies with non-master bio-engineers who are not getting great or excellent results thus ending up with a lower CL rating. However a bug is not lowering the stats as well. The fact is that the noxious kahmurrith is not any different to many of the species on yavin4 which don't have any resistances or vulnerabilities either. The fact it has light armor is besides the point since we all know thats linked to the fortitude stat and if you look on the dna this meets the requirement 500+ rule.
results don't effect my end CL it seems. Not enough to notice.
And definitely not enough to reproduce easily. All my pets I've made with moderate failures, and success, have ended up being within the sane level rules.
Is it a certain experimentation point that causes the lower levels? Is it second generation? Because I'm just not seeing where your anti-"non master BE" comes from.
Maybe I need more experimentation points
But I'd think when all my creations come out CL 13+ when using just CL 30+ DNA, it'd be hard to reproduce these bugged pets without further bugs along the line.
Someone called Ramiel tipped me off saying that you need nocious dna in 1 ,2 and 5 and then almost anything else in 3 and 4. I'm gonna test that out but to me it sounds like an exploit to me since it only works a very certain way. If it's because of thenocious kahmurrith having zero for all resistances then technically this kinda thing can be reproduced with any dna which contains zero for certain resistances, it'd just be amplified by the ones which have multiple zero resistances.
Species from Yavin4 would be an ideal test case if that is true.
Master BE here, and I was able to reproduce this in multiple tests yesterday evening after looking at the numerous discussions on this board. Use Nocuous Kamurith DNA in all slots to create clones only experimenting two boxes on Physique, nothing else.Resample the 1st generation clone(s), then make a second generation clone with fresh Nocuous Kam DNA in slots 1,2 and 5 and the resampled Noc Kam DNA in 3 and 4. Experiment in Physique again for two boxes only....every time this created an uber low level pet. This was also repeated mixing in original Kamurith Defiler and Snapper DNA in the second (uber) clones.
I suspect it may be the way the original and resampled DNA are used in the clone combined with the experimentationthat is doing this.....going to test this later today with varying primary DNA samples as I head out to Endor.
i can reproduce the making of pets with CL7-9, HAM 7K/3K/2K, all resists 33% EVERYTIME by using only 2 nocuous kamurith dna samples
i even made one of those pets with CL4!
but for example with kamurith defiler dna, which have only 5% higher resists, it doesn't work - i always get CLs around 20
nocuous kamuriths are clearly bugged for me...
In my opinion it isn't the Nocouous Kams that are bugged specifically.... they just exhibit a bug in the cloning system most profoundly because every resist is a 0 effectiveness.
The bug is tied up in there. Other critters have these 0 strings, and they seem to have resists that rise with experimentation on Physique. These raised resists aren't factored into the final CL of the creature, giving them upwards of 45% resists at a cost of 0 additional CL.
