I'm not a Be but it's one profession that I will try for sure when ever I get a chance. I wanted to know if the level of pet that you can sample is restricted to your skills. So for example if I'm a novice can I only sample creatures that are level 12 and under? Can I sample Mutant Rancors as sonn as I make novice? Or does my skill only determine my chances of success?

I am working my way to master its rough going but heres what little help i can give. At novice u will fail or die if you try something hard like rancors. I think i failed about 50 to 70% of the time on yard trash outside of newbie citys.

With one box in dna getting a sample off of white con mobs is about the best you can do. I tried to sample arcane webmasters and warriors on naboo with just one box and failure was 100%. So the stuff your thinking of targeting would prob be the same.

Best thing for you would be buy a crate of muon gold and sample the yard trash till u get the first 2 boxes on dna sample completed then maybe try something bigger. I will not step up to rancors and such until i hit level 4 dna sample.

Bio is not a dabbler profession so if u do it go all the way. If you want to make good pets novice level dna will not cut it for you. If you want to skip the tissue line thats fine. But the dna slot and the experimintation (sp) slot matter for me. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. When I do go for it I plan on mastering it. Man I'm getting exited thinking about it I just might drop some skills and go for in right now.
