Thread: Merek Harvester DNA

I am a Bio-Engineer 4434 and I am 40k xp from Master. I spent a couple hours attempting to harvest dna from Merek Harvesters with no luck. I had no trouble masking from them but each time I attempted to get DNA I would fail. I was able to get DNA from every other Merek (except the King).
Do I need to keep trying to sample merek harvesters or will I continue to fail until I get level 4444?
Is it possible to get DNA from the merek king?

Once I reach MBE what is the highest CL I can sample?

I had a bunch of them left and used five of them to create some nice pets I thought. Next time I get five I will post results.

aye 5 x KMH is actually a nice single generation pet, but in multigeneration its best to use MH.

It is possible to get dna from the king, but the king is actually -worse- than the regular MHs (the fortitude is substantially lower, thus increasing the chance of the light armor dropping, and the kinetic resistance is 60% vs 75% for the regulars). The king's level is correspondingly lower as well. I don't bother trying to sample from them.

Well the KMH is CL50 so I'm guessing between 48-52 depending on experimentation.

I'll try it out this weekend. I can safely say I've never made a single generation pet that I've been satisified with, but I can see the potential here. Any idea what level it usually comes out to?
