i was getting bored so i decided to mess around with dna and try to make a pet with a crap load of stun resist. i got a bunch of merek and mantigure dna and was able to create some decent pets with about 11k HAM with kinetic resist of around 28, and stun resist 40. then for the heck of it i tried just using mantigure reaper(VHQ) in all the slots. this is what happened:
Lv51
H 10523
A 10478
M 9707
Lt armor
Kinetic 40%
Energy 40%
Blast 70%
Heat 1%
Cold 70%
Electricity 70%
Acid 70%
Stun 70%
A.S. 2.15
T.H. .46
Dmg 340-350
No Specials
Ranged
then i tried again, but this time i used Deranged Mantigrue Hunter in the aggression slot because i didn't have anymore VHQ Mantigrue Reaper. and this is what happened there:
Lv43
H 10963
A 10909
M 11161
Lt armor
Kinetic 42%
Energy 41%
Blast 70%
Heat vunerable
Cold 70%
Electricity 70%
Acid 70%
Stun 70%
A.S. 2.16
T.H. .47
Dmg 290-300
Blinding Strike
Stunning Strike
Ranged
so what do you guys think? is that worthwhile or is it not a big deal seeing as the HAM and damage aren't very awesome consideringthe creature levels?

2nd one looks pretty good... it'd be interesting to use it as 2nd gen and see what happens to the CL.
10k+ HAM with light armor is always useful, even at CL 40mid.

If you second gen'd it and experimented only on physique to get the armor and maybe one point on aggression to maintain a decent damage you'd have a lower CL with armor, nice resists, and decent damage. It would be a great animal for a combo. If you made two and sold them as a set they would be highly prized.
Combos are my number one request from MCH's

if you need stun resists, you've got a number of options.
first off, try an 'advanced search' of swgcreatures.com.
off the top of my head, while YOUNG malkloc plainswalkers are good, they can be hard to find... surefoot brackasets provide a good stun boost, though their stats are less than ideal for high CL creatures. they are certainly a good source for stun resists at a competitive CL.

Hey guys, I'm a Master CH and have been working with my BE to create a Super-Leveling pet designed for the Geonosian caves that our guild can give to new members.
It was based on NancyJ's CL 19, 60 Kin, Light armour recipe that was posted here.
I post this cos she (My BE) doesn't always appear to be the sharpest knive in the drawer, and has problems following recipes. Nancy suggested using Malkloc Plainswalkers for stun. Have you guys had any success with such a thing? Any ideas? She's been having trouble and I don't know what to do cos I'm not a BE.
The necessities are light armour (They always die before noobs can get to the first room), highest stun resist possible (Damn Geonosians), and trying not to go over CL 20 (Highest xp per kill)

Might be interesting if you try mixing Young Malkloc Plainswalkers and Aged Lantern Birds, like YMP YMP ALB ALB YMP. Not sure how low level you will be able to get it though.

the lowest level i was able to get it to, without seriously sacrificing the HAM was 40. i didn't spend too much time messing around with it though. so i may be able to do something in the future. however, isuspect with those resists and maintaining decent HAM, it's not going to be able to be much lower than that.
