Hi Bio-Engineers!!! 
Can anyone tell me how good one can make BE Melee Defense and BE dizzy/warcry?

Is the max melee def +4 (or can it be made better?)

+4/+17 is pretty much the standard for the top end.
you could probably milk it to +4/+18... but the extra quality required on the resources probably wouldn't justify the effort.

just to be complete, +20 is technically possible but requires resources you'll never see (I predict SWG's death before a complete set of 1000-stat resources is obtained

my only question with THAT is: would melee defense stay at +4, or could it be tweaked to +5?
again, resources THAT good would probably be better used in something else. like, say, NOT a clone.

Oh, this makes me happy. I just bought my first factory, and was running around collecting resources. This one dude was spamming "Looking for BE's to make 4/18, will only buy 4/18.....". So, I get back to my crafting station and start working on it. The best I can come up with is 4/17. I figured I might as well run it through and get a crate, now that I went to all the effort, but figured I was gonna get hooped on it. Maybe not, though, if 4/17 is pretty standard.

Take a look at the ratio of increase between stun def and melee def. It's been my experience that for every point of experimentation you use, you get +1 stun defense and around .3 melee defense. It seems to me that a +5 melee defense is tantalizingly close, but would require -very- high quality resources. The highest I've made is +4/+18, and the highest I've made of any other type is +18/+18. I believe my average resource quality is around 950-980, so there is some room to grow, in theory.

We've had some incredible resource spawns in the last three months on the Kettemoor server. I've been able to make +4/+19 Tensiles, +19 Enhanced Myoflex, and +19 Coagulant Agents (and +89/+119 food additives briefly). With all the other advanced tissues the best I can get is +18, and only recently was I able to get the Fear Releases up to +18, before that it was +16.

max for all tissues seems to be +20 and +5/+15 for the melee/stun. while the max is impossible to make (never saw resources with all 1000 which i believe to need for them) +4/+18 is no problem. never managed to get any of those tissues to +19 so far, but i still search for perfect resources. on the other hand i found no tailor really cares if a tissue is +13 or higher
