Thread: Current rules on TC (tissue stacking)?
So a slot that needs 2 identical fiberplast panels loaded with melee defense will give you the value just once, ok.
Two slots would give you 2x the melee defense, if both were loaded with tensile?
Three would give you 3x the values, presumably.
How about a hypothetical four? Or is it six mods being stun def, melee def, stun def, melee def, stun def, melee def? That is, if three slots had tensile resistance (assuming you have fieldwear that can take three slots of panels) is it two mods, or six?
I'm pretty sure there's field wear that supports two panels and a cloth. Should I take it to mean I could get +34 stun defense, +8 melee defense (2x 17/4 tensiles), and still have 12/12 medical enhancements from the cloth (total of four mods on one piece of clothing)?
Or is six mods six mods from clothing total, not per piece of clothing?
Asking because I'm nowhere near master BE to find out for myself on TC.
Ok, there is two kinds of "stacking", perhaps we're getting confused here (I know I am).
Type 1: multiple slots which are additive
example: wookiee sage's hood
slot 1: 1 synthetic cloth (w/medical healing +12)
slot 2: 1 synthetic cloth (w/entertainer healing +12)
slot 3: 1 synthetic cloth (w/medical healing +12)
slot 4: 1 synthetic cloth (w/ entertainer healing +12)
So, you would expect the result to be: +24 medical healing, +24 entertainer healing
Type 2: multiple cloths/RFP's in a single slot
example: Reinforced jumpsuit
slot1: 6 RFP's (w/mask scent +12)
So, you would expect the result to be: +72 mask scent
My understanding was that we were getting stacking of the "type 1" above but not "type 2" in this patch. Or am I wrong? Incidentally, there are in fact no clothing items that have multiple RFP slots, so the only stacking you could get is of type 2 for RFP.
I would think that the big question is:
Has anyone even tested this on the TC?
Or are we going to yet another untested change go into production.
Have you?

Identical cloth in the same slot will likely never stack. Multiple instances of single cloth now should - up to the 25 max cap - same as it was before the patch that actually made bonuses work.
Not sure on the ones with single and multiple identical. I'm thinking they SHOULD add together - at least the single value on the multiple slot - but won't know till I get ingame and actually try it.
