Thread: Path question
First off, BE needs Hunting IV (Scout)and Organic Chemistry IV (Medic)
The BE profression is not completed at present but still offers fun if you are the patient type. It is a crafting professions and considered to be quite slow in progress.
At the moment our products have only limited sale value but that is not to say you cannot make money.
I'm enjoying BE even with its problems. Take up Novice BE. Give DNA sampling a try and make a few cirtters. This is essentially the crux of our profession. If you find it boring then give it a miss.
Summary:
Requires: Hunting IV (Scout) and Organic Chemistry (Medic). Novice BE needs Medical Crafting exp.
BE is primarily a crafting profession with three of our trees requireing BE Crafting experience.
The forth Tree is DNA Sampling exp and is obtained by taking DNA samples of LIVE creatures (think of this as similar to Scout harvesting.
The resources required for BE is primarily:
Meat (harvested from creatures)
Flora
Mecical resources (Organic,Inorganic, Chemical, Water)
I hope this helps.
If you want to be able to use pets you create, you will have to also get Creature Handler with Bio-Eng. Or else you will be stuck w/being able to use only the non-ch pets.
Doing this leads to 2 problems,
1 - you need xp in 2 different professions
2 -uses a lot of skill points.
If you want to just create animals and stuff and not use any of it yourself, just go full Bio-Eng. If you want to just use pets and nothing else go full CH. If you want a bit of both, get both lines.
Good luck
I was wondering, given the choice, would you rather max out the Empathy tree, or the Management tree? I was hoping to be able to tame my own mounts, but from the way things look, it might be better to max out management first. That way I get the bonus of having multiple pets out, and I can always just transfer it to someone to train as a mount. Thoughts?
