Thread: Some questions for our community BE's
1) Nope. Through experience and reading receipes and findings of other BE's on the board, we can get a general idea of where a creature may level at the final crafting assembly, but we can't cap.
2) I've seen threads pop up about how useful a cap could be and I'm pretty sure that is mentioned on our new Top 5 issues thread.
3) Each creature has a color palette we can use, and some creatures have more variety than others. Patterns are static, tho.
4) When mounts were first announced, the blurb noted "the first of these are..." This seems to imply that more will be forthcoming at some point, though I don't know that more mounts are a high dev priority. Definitely, some creatures demand that feature. Gualamas, krabhus, and tybis are horses, dadgummit!

As an avid combat style player, I have only most recently dabbled in some of the other aspects of SWG, namely the artisan and crafter roles.
With all of the customization options floating around for many of the crafter types, I found myself with a few questions regarding pets, and more specifically the abilities of BE's with regard to them.
1) Can a BE "cap" the difficulty level a BE pet will reach at maturity? Basically, is it possible to engineer a pet that would normally require a Creature handler to stop at level 10 and be available to anyone?
2) If the above is not the case, has the BE community asked for this? I think it would be a wonderful opporunity to allow some much cooller mounts (can we say dewbacks) to get into the hands of non-BE's without unbalamncing the game. (I'm assuming that capping the difficulty level would also cap the HAM and attack values, etc.)
3) How far does the BE control over appearance go? Can you predetermine colors and patterns etc.?
4) Has expanding the avialable mount types been discussed? While wandering Tatooine it occurred to me that there are some creatures wchich scream mount, but are not available as such (Bantha and Cupa anyone?)
Forgive me if these questions have been addressed before, I have never visited the BE forum before now.
Tahnks in advance for enlightening the ignorant. =)
