I used to be a really good BE/CH before I started this stupid Hologrinding. Now I'm left weak and pitiful. I tried to get our guild Master BE to make mea really nice non-CH pet and put a Durni body on it. However, whenever she tried to get any more than 500 HAM, the creature would go over level 10.
Does anyone have any decent recipies for non-CH pets. They don't need to do any special attacks, or has crazy resistances. I'd just like something to tank a little, so that I don't end up being sushi.
Does meat quality have anything to do with creature quality anymore?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are a number of threads here that list how to make good non-creature handler animals. Your master BE should spend a little time browsing this forum.
What she's most likely doing is trying to get the animal to have a lot of damage or very high resists. A CL10 animal is not meant to be a tank. Its more of a helper. CL10 animals work great for pulling one beastie out of a nest at a time. They need you for protection as much as you need them.
If you want a CL10 animal with high HAM (typically between 2K and 3K is a safe bet) you're going to have an animal that does little damage. Even so, the HAM offsets the damage.
Tell your BE to watch the power stat on her clones. Keep it below 50. Hardiness should be below 250. Anything above 150 will be a nice animal. Dexterity and intelect should not go over 200 combined. You'll find exceptions to this rule but if she sticks close she will be making nice CL10 animals.
