Thread: Light Armour?

I'm a newbie BE (although i've reached master and make some ok non-ch pets). Since i only got master the other day, and started sampling rancors like mad, i was wondering... what the heck does light armour do? I know i've gone a long while (about 3 months since i got the game) but i've never really thought about it until i started putting it into pets. So any help in this matter would be appreciated. thank you.

It is like 50% resist all, except where there is Vunerabilities. BTW, Rancors are not usually worth sampling.

I've been master BE on Kauri for about 2 weeks now. I can finally sample rancors if i have a good buff. My question is why cant i get pets with armor? I've tried nightsister rancors, mutant rancors,bull rancors.rancors...and still no armor. what am i doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

You need 500+ fortitude in the dna template to get light armour.

how do i get 500+ fortitude, is it possible using only rancor dna?

You will need to experiment up the Physiche until the fortitude goes to 500+. Even if you put 5 dna samples in that came from creatures with LA, your pre experiement template will probably come out to about 400ish. I generally find that each experiment point adds about 50 to a stat
