50k and up is a good price on gorath too. Some new guys sell cheaper though. I ran across a vendor today selling +85's for 21k per crate! Needless to say, but I purchased all 40 crates on the vendor

I would go no lower than 50k until chefs start dropping their prices...

Seems I'm cheaper than everyone else, I sell mine at 18x bonusx 25, so a crate of 85is 38250 and a crate of 86 would be 38700.

i usually sell for ressource *(17cu + 1cu for each % above 81 and 2 cu for % above 85 ).

so on kauri my 85% are sold 42k and 88% 54k.

As soon as you get into the low-mid 80s, the price should spike a bit as, at that point, you'd have to be using VERY good materials. On Tempest, even using the best stuff we've ever had for materials, we still can't get better than 87% on em.....

Most of Ahazi's meat is junk at the moment, though Rancor meat isn't too bad. Doc's seem to snapthat up though, so I've had to collect my own which can take me a while as I'm onlya MCH and part Pistol, so I may have to think about doing something like you say if I want to keep selling good quality BSN.

Even so, I've based my costings on 20cpu for meat and 10 for flora plus 50%, which seems to me to be on the generous side really, so I guess it boils down to "What it's worth" and "What I can get". I've leaned more towards the "What it's worth" side currently, but that doesn't mean I won't lean more towards the"What I can get" side if meat prices keep going up, the qualityof meat stays downand my sales keep increasing.

In that scenario, the only way I'll be able to put a brake on sales is to up the price, though I'll always try and look after my regulars...

Yeah, I sell to friends at lower rates, and guildies pretty much free, but to the public that demands these items, stick to your guns and sell for what you feel you can...it's hard enough to make a living off of low-profit-margin Petstims as it is......

Hmm, this is kind of an interesting discussion. I've been assuming that the power of the BSN is directly proportianal to the power of the food. So in other words, everything I've made so far is in the 78-85 range. That is only a 10% difference from the very best to the very worst. Therefore I've assumed that is a fairly trivial difference to a chef, and certainly doesn't justify charging an extra 10k-20k or whatever per crate. For those that charge that way, do you know different?
