The Ancient Bull Rancors have Medium Armor - but have nit been able to pull any DNA off them yet to experiment.

And you won't either. There is a hard cap of CL 75, if a critter is greater then that you won't be able to sample succuessfully from it. =(

If this has been asked lately I am sorry but I am too busy sampling critters to search the pages atm. Hate me if you must. So which wild critters have medium armor post-patch?

Is it still possible to make a droid with a medium armor rating?

Just wondering since i read that one level 6 makes a droid with medium armor, and two level 4's do the same... i'm guessing they changed this though?

Droids can no longer have "armor". They can only have resistances. Those are maxed at 20% for a Lvl 6 module, though a display bug is causing them to show a 40% resistance.

Buggers...

No more armour rating on a Droid!?

Then what good is having 6 levels of armour plates, if we cannot protect our products properly?

Resists might be nice, but still... You'd think a chunk of metal would be somewhat protective...

Might as well stick with a biological critter then for a tank...

Not even a relic.

It doesn't exist anymore.

Pull it out of your datapad and take a look - the nerf was retroactive.

Ihavehad a fewpeople have told me I was full of B.S. and whipped out their Probot to show me I was wrong - and then apologized for doubting me.

I have yet to find someone who's droid survived - never say never - but if it did it was a big 'ol bug.

They really need to change the wording. It's deceptive.

The only complaint I have had from any customer (and it's only happened a couple of times) is that the examine window says "Armor:None" when I only put Level 6's in my droids (even though currently it is still capped at level 4 it seems).

There is a difference between armor and armor rating - our armor gives RESISTS now only instead of armor rating, which is a totally seperate armor/damage table. They are two totally seperate things.

The intended effect is for our droids right now to have resists between 0 and 20%, but because of another bug they all seem to say 40% by default which makes the issue much more complicated.

We have armor, and it is effective - it's just not as good as it used to be. I believe it needs to offically offer 40% resists, but beside that the new HAM makes them a much more attractive product.

I don't see anyone out there with CL-10 creature pets anymore - legal ones are just not as good as our tanks, especially with auto-repair modules.

Best BIo-tank I have seen that is Non-CH is around 6000 H 5000 A4500 M I have not seen one yet that had the same amout of HAM on all 3 bars this critter also had 15% resits to kindic and like 10% to 2 others I think. Now its ablitiy to Steal my XP was around 300-320 (damage).

This is what you get with a Droid 20% Resits to ALL damage types(if proporly "armored") with an AP of 0, all NON-CH non-faction pets are AP0. Only the Highest CH can use an AP1 pet now. You also get around 5970 HAM (with an LE Repair) or 4477 HAM (with an R3) this is what I have gotten. and with Autorepair mods there Effective HAM clims even Higher. Not to mention the fact that MAXED they damage around 190 per hit. Alowing you to Cause more of the Damage and therefor get most of the XP.

I'm guessing droid armor won't really be fixed till they bring in other battle droids after jump to light speed and it really make all the armor mods a waste
