Thread: Looking for Recepies
Read the FAQ sheet and then see some other BE sites too...
What kind of BE would you be if you didn't try hard to make your own pet receipes?? They are half the fun!!
But there are several posted out there.. Good Luck to you!!
That's what I am asking for. A simple note on the names of those sites.
And I am sorry, but I don;t have endless hours to spend sampling DNA and making countless unuseable critters that don't sell. Heck, I have a house full of them.
And I DID read the FAQ. And I HAVE spent a lot of time experementing.... with no consistent results.... as I said in my original post. But Hey, If nobody wants to help out or give me a tip then I guess my impressions of these forums was correct.
Although FAQ sheets claim certain things if you do actually make the same experiments you will se they are wrong.
There is no consistency...and least none that you can see unless you can somehow know the level value you are making during the process which will make the crafting alot easier.
I tried my Hand at making something a CL 10 Creature.
I Got 11 and 17,and 25 all with the same values for the stats...and in some cases higher Levels with lower stat values.
So anywise...thats how the system works.
My Prized creature is a KIMA thats level 9 that shoots and does Strong Disease and Strong Poison and has Light Armor with 60% Kinetic resistance and 14,000 HAMs
I did this right after the KIMA skins where made available.
Now I cannot come even close to this with out breaking level 50.....
But for 1,000 less on the HAms I can get to 40.....but anything above 4000 HAMs but below 11,000 HAMs comes out random for the level.

Some I made myself, some I got from assorted places/people. I've tried to give credit where due but I was collecting before I started recording who they belonged to.

Also has some listings but the scrolling section at the top of the forums has caused me to avoid this one since he rebuilt it following a hacker attack.

How much *I* do depends on what I'm trying to make. If I'm following a recipe I'll do that the author suggests unless I've tried it a few times and I don't get the same results he got for whatever reason. For example if I'm going for a non-CH pet I'll usually only do two points in physique and one in mind (to even out the action with the mind) unless the recipe calls for something else. If I'm making a trio or dual MCH pet I'll often max out physique and then look at the others to see how action and mind compare or whether anything else is significantly lower than the others.
That part of the process is very much a touchy-feely sort of thing. I usually try to get multiple sets of the DNA I want to try for a particular recipe so that if I get a crit fail or if I haven't tried it already I can try again.
