Has any TC BE DNA left from before the changes? I would like to know if it becomes unusable, since they changed the way the stats are calculated on them.
Was thinking about stocking up some DNA before the changes go life.

I was able to use old DNA to make a template.

What I'm more interested to know is if the old dna gets updated with the new system. Unfortunately when I thought of it and logged on to gather some to see, the patch was already in progress.

The old DNA clearly has different numbers than the new DNA. In the new system, trash DNA really is trash. I found a number of samples with a negative number for fortitude and other stats were in the single digits. Psychology stats were higher though. (With a novice sampling skill.) The old DNA did not change. Not sure exactly what this means because the system is not completely in place over there, as of last night. But I was able to make a jax with the old samples.

I also noticed a difference in the stats from one animal to another, some appeared to be more fierce, some appeared to be "smarter." So we may be hunting a number of different animals for a specific stat instead of making the whole creature from one type.

Hmm, ok thanks, I guess I will give it a try. Can't hurt to collect some...
It seems we are back on square one, poking with a stick in the dark, trying to figure out the new cloning system
