I'm a wookiee, and I could tame Rancor at IV and Gnarled Rancor at III.

Go to the dathomir outpost, head around 1000m to the West and you'll hit the Rancor Plains. He'll you find rancor of all sorts popping out of the ground like rabbits for a region which is around 3000m square.

Currently it's 4/4/0/4 or 4/4/4/0. You canalso get a gnarled rancor at only 4/3/4/0 or 4/3/0/4.
