Thread: Pre-CU Med Schems and StimDs

I have almost finished regrinding BE. I have some pre-cu ALS and ACRDM schems. ALS is 133power and ACRDM is 46 power or charges, can't remember. Will those pre-cu components boost any stimDs I make? And by how much? Reason being I have to use a resource deed for the herb meat on the ALS. Thanks for any help in advance.

Pre CU ALS with more than 150power will boost the power of the stim D, but will loose some charges.
All other Pre CU components are not usuable anymore...i mean not useful

Herbivore meat is used in the ACRDM, andyours seems to be quite low on power.Mine are ranging from 63-67 for good quality meat. I'd say go find some good herbivore meat on the bazaar/vendor search and make a new schem for it, you will also gain a couple charges from this. The ALS on the other hand is usable, should bump the power on the stims a bit.

Thanks for the info. I remember using fair quality herb meat when making the schems. They weren't buff pack quality but made pretty decent(free) stimpaks back then. I'll finish the grind and see how the stimDs come out, with the few pre-cu crates I have lying around. Just got alittle excited cause I just got the 180 day resource deed.

Well of course it all depends on what kind of resource shifts your server has had lately.. I usually check the vendor search from the bazaar, to see what is available. Sometimes you find bargains on good resources to use in your crafting.. ^_^

I find that the pre-CU Abec's are quite usefull when using with the pre-CU Als's. My pre CU Als are 188 power, and most of the pre-CU Abec's I have are like 20/20, so u can make high power with lots of charges. I just wish i had made more of the Abec schems before the CU. I made schems up until the very last minute of server goin down, but made ASDS's instead of Abec's. What a mistake that was.

I totally agree with Arceon.
Pre-CU ABECs, while not _as_ useful as those 180-or-so ALSs out there, when used in combination with the pre-CU ALSs, make a stimpack that's higher powered than is possible in a post-CU world, with a greater amount of charges,
Personally, I produce a line of these packs for 10k-a-unit, and they generally sell out as fast as I can put them up on my vendor.
