Thread: Lowest Level Maximum (499) Damage pet and Max damage possible on a CL10 pet?
My hunting companion is'pumpkin' the baby bantha. He's level 10 and has something like 1100 health and does 240 damage. I can't remember the recipe (exactly) at the moment but it was something like:
rill
jagged fang (for the 1000 in the power slot)
rill
rill
rill
experiment to the max in aggression. I think. I posted it somewhere else ... darn I really need to get a proper notepad for recipes.
Oh since I'm level 30, I outdamage pumpkin. I make sure to group with him and he does very well as long as I don't get killed. The only problem is that he steals my combat xp because he DOES do a significant amount of damage compared to mine. His damage is actually comparable to a level 30 combat droid but he has much less health of course.

I, too, am interested in this. I was thinking of trying to make a set of triplets with as high of damage as possible, but I'm not sure where to start. I'd also like to have a set of twins with a boost to their damage. I have a very good friend who just started the game and is going CH that I'd like to also be able to create a nice damage pet or two for.
I was checking SWG Creature Crafterand there are some recipes like a level 20 that hits for 249 or a level 30 with 271 max damage and I've read the MDH-MDH-MDH-MDH-JF recipe for a CL70 with 499ish damage, but I'm curious on how low in CL we can go with such nice, high 400ish damage.

I was banging my head against this problem for a while and have given up. There seems to be a level cap for damage that is hidden in the stupid code somewhere.
Using Nam's level calc I came up with a few pets that should have been around level 30 with 400 damage, but alas they were around level 40 instead. I was trying not to let the health get too low (1.5-2k was where it landed). I'm sure if you didn't mind having a pet that had 100 health, the level would come down a little. The best twins I could come up with were about 375ish damage
I think (and i'll check this weekend) that i can make trips with 300 damage. More on that later...
Lucha ... you are probably right. I know that power under 115 is always treated as 115 by the game...i wouldn't be surprised if they do a damage/level check as well.
