My friend is a tka/sword/doc type and i was gonna get him some clothes and had a couple questions about the tissues.
1. since the cap is 25 you only need 13 rated tissues right?
2. the range/melle defence tissues if its rated 13 thats 13 to both right? mira's guide has 2 names for small and large ones just wanna check and make sure that i understand htem right.
3. with a jacket/pants/undershirt/bandoleer i have 4 combat slots. is 2 healing eff, 2 defence the best way to go?
4. is there any other combo of items im missing that has more than 4 combat slots? (to try to get terrain negotition if i can)
5. for 13 rated items since ill have 2 of each do i need hte big tissues or hte small ones?
Thanks

1) Correct, +25 is the cap, so two +13 tissues are sufficient.
2) It will usually be +13/+13. Sometimes you may get a stat that is 1-2 points higher than the other, but if you pay attention it will be what you need.
3) This is a personal choice about what is best. I would rate TN over Defense myself (and there are questions about how much, if any, bonus the defense tissue provides).
4) I think that is all. It has been a long time since I put together an outfit though.
5) You will need the higher-end tissues. The low-end ones cap around +8.
One thing you should know is that there are two types of tissues: Ones that go in Reinforced Fiber Panels and ones that go in Synth Cloth. Some clothes have slots for one of each, and hats have two Synth Cloth slots.
TN and Defense use Fiber Panels.
Healing tissues use Synth Cloth. (At least pre-CU. I assume they still do.)
Basically "active" abilities use Fiber and "social" ones use Synth.

healing uses RFP (probably because now anyone can use stims), however augmentation/cure uses SC.

Thanks for the corrections. It's been a while since I worked with any tissues, so I'm a bit behind the times.

Be wary of converted tissues,I have some pre-cu converterd that are +4/+13.

thanks for the advice i put in an order with a BE last night. i mainly wanted it for my friend who is tka and grinds alot so terrain isnt very important to him.
it is said that the mellee/ranged defences dont work unless you take off and put on an item. is this a new bug with this publish or has it not worked for a while? i got it on the suit with it in case they fix it cuase he doenst need much else but if its a new bug hopefully they will fix it.
also hte takeoff/put on an item is this every mob you fight or like when you logon/port you have to do it?
