Currently I am a 4/0/4/4 bio engineer and I need to create a high HAM - low DAM gurreck for a customer, do you guys have any suggestions for what to sample for this and also what I should use my exerpimentation points on.
Any suggestions would be a big help, the customer wants the gurreck to have around 10k HAM and very low damage.
High ham low damage gurreck? Sure: Bull Rancor-Bull Rancor-Bull Rancor-durni - durni. ![]()
However, I'm guessing that this is not their "real" requirement, rofl
Not sure what your sampling limit at that level is, but it won't be up to bull rancors (which give bad kin resist anyway).
Try;
- Phys - Young Malkloc Plainswalker
- Prow - Young Malkloc Plainswalker
- Men - Young Malkloc Plainswalker/Surefoot Brackaset
- Psy - Boar Wolf/Graul/Large Cave Beetle
- Agg - Delerious Merek Avenger/Gaping Spider Hunter/Other lowish CL armored creature
First, make a note of the fortitude score for each sample you intend to use and insert them into the following formula - if the result isn't over 500 then you will need to add something tougher (like another YMP) in to the Agg slot if you want it to have armor (and you do
)
- Final Max Fortitude = (0.4 * Phys) + (0.25 * Prow) + (0.05 * Men) + (0.05 * Psy) + (0.25 * Agg)
When experimenting DO NOT experiment in Aggression if you want to keep damage down. Experiment in Phys until your template's fortitude is over 500. I tend to do this as the last set as a fail in a different slot can reduce your final fortitude score with no chance to increase it again if you've already maxed your Phys experimentation. Experiment in Men and Prow to get Dex and Int scores you want, and put a point or two into Psy to increase attack speed with no discernable CL cost.
To get 10K in each HAM pool, aim at getting Hardiness, Dexterity and Intelligence over 575, especially Hardiness as health is hit so much more than others by random attacks.
Hope that helps a bit.
