I'm a BE/CH just looking around at the other proffessions takes on the patch and JESUS!!!! You guys got hosed. And here I was, considering dabbling in TKA, thankfully I came here first and saw the retarded changes they made and the good changes they DIDNT make.

Here are some "improvements" I think the devs should implement in the next patch!

TKA-They move0.00005 times faster,BUT when they attack, they cant move for 2.5 seconds and get tired, just to balance it out

CH-Just make it so theres only ONE creature in the galaxy that they can tame and use! good luck finding out which one, as it changes every 3 days!

DE-Beef up the probot with special moves such as Knockdown, but if they attempt it, even if they miss, they explode, doing 200-400 damage to the owners health

I need some help cooking some other "excellent suggestions" up!

Take it away..............

I can't seem to get resists higher! I just got master be yesterday and all my pets have lower kinetic. I read the recipes thread, but that is everyone saying what they made and not how they made it. I got a couple of vhq mutant rancor this morning, some merek assassin. couldnt find a queen harvester. I saw in a previous thread that boar wolf has good kinetic resists. the problem i'm having is which slot i need to put it in to get the resists i need. help please. THX guys

The other thing to remember is that Special Protection resistance overrides Effective Protection values. Using kinetic resist as an example (since it's a SP value on the Mutant Rancor), any samples that have kinetic as effective are counted as zero when plugged into the formula. This can seriously degrade the maximum possible for a resistance.

I've found when I want a pet with 60% kinetic and light armour (and I dont mind it having no other resists and a CL of about 45) you cant go wrong with Merek Harvesters from Endor, they rule they got light armour and 75% resist kinetic and only 10% or lower on the other resists, perfect for tank making pets

Good luck

You mean animal based PvE, they have energy vulnerability so if you have armor then any NPC or player can blast right through using their most common weapons. Energy vulnerability = bad.

Sweet guys. THX for some of the info. I was able to grab some bark mite burrower queen dna last night. The first few times she agg'd me after I got the sample. But they have 60% kinetic, so I thought that might be good. So if I'm wanting good kinetic resists on my pet, I should put this in the physique slot? I was putting rancor dna in there. Is this the reason why stats have been low and I am not even getting any light armor? I thought if fortitude was over 500 I would get armor, but the cats I made didnt have any.

Resistance is determined by the standard physique determination algorithm, physique 40%, prowess 25%, mental 5%, psychology 5% and aggression 25%.

That's from Mirrl's wonderful cloning guide, which can be seen here...
