Thread: What are your BE priorities post-CU??

Obviously, our money maker before the CU was chef nutrients, and this may still be this way, but now with the new schematics and such what's going to be your priority?? Its sounds as if the new tailor tissues will be very hot items. Is anyone out there gonna bother making the meds?? With so many schematics now available, I don't really have the desire or the time to make nutrients, tailor tissues, meds, and pets., especiallynow that i'm trying to play another character now. I will probably continue to make nutrients for cash and make pets for fun. But I probably will only make tailor tissues and meds for guildmates who request them. What are you all planning to do now?

My first priority will be to determine how much fun BE still is. I derive my fun from crafting animals. Tissue products are a means to make money but they are about as much fun to craft as watching paint dry.

If animal crafting is completely borked, as I'm afraid it is, then the entertainment value of the game with be greatly reduced for me. Determining whether or not this is the case will be numero uno for me.

I think BE pet crafting will be alright. Form the first results from people trying their pets out on the CH forum, they are coming out alright during conversion *IF* they adjust STATS and not LEVEL.

Pets can regen now too. One guy mentioned his rancor vs a lair of Quenkers. His rancor was regenning almost as fast as it took damage.

Another TC guy stated that a MBH/MCH can kill a jedi knight.

Not confirmed myself, but the initial comments are out there that indicate that once we get used to how everything has shifted, CH will do fine even in PVP.

Well, I was on TC too testing with the various templates I have and decided, just of curiosity to try a MBE/MCH combo. I thoroughly enjoyed the creature crafting and spent most of my time, sampling/crafting/testing them out and as a result has respec'd my main toon to this combo on live. Its a bit of a bummer crafting a rancor with CL160+ but hopefully they sort that out, or i work out how to doo it properly lol, whichever comes sooner.
Once i get the hang of what i'm doing i may play around with tissues and meds, but i used to be a mdoc so have had my fair share of medicine crafting.
Creature crafting is where it is for me and seems like one of the only crafting proffesions i have done that doesn't become monotonous.

I do agree with that I will probably resume my BE status when the CU roles around on the live servers. Since master rifleman will require ranged support and jedi will get respected points now. I have a feeling with the new doctor lvl buffs and all we will be making our money crafting the new buff packs and the stim packs unless something has changed (was out sick.) Long live the BE profession

Tissues and pets. If there's a need for meds, I may do them, but I'm guessing many docs will change over with the respec, since they won't have to grind out all the crafting and DNA sampling.

Tissues and pets. I just hope the chef additives will still be useful and with all the changes, I'm sure tailors will be looking for tissues.

Pets is my greatest concern. I love trying to collect DNA and make pets.

I'm just going to stand back and wait...see what happens. If they can't get this half-baked CU fixed soon, I hate to say it, but I will be gone.
