If anything has light armor then its CL will exceed 100. Also the HAM you see there is typical fora wild animal near to level 55. Just check the CH forums for a rundown on what to expect for wild animal stats now. From what I've read a Frenzied Grual has around 5000 health at level 51.

the funny thing is that the "rabbit" type creatures got a big boost in the CU. I was wandering around corellia yesterday and found that durnis are now level 16 and have between 2k and 2.5k health.

I made a test pet too....
ph=plains hunter
ss=spineflap soldier (vhq)
ph/ph/ss/ph/ph
maxed physical & aggression with experimentation.
its 20% on all but 4% on acid, 8.5/4.2/3.8 HAM
atk spd 2.16, to hit 0.0 (?)
damage 132-496
intim/stun
ranged attack
level 43... (before CU this would come out in the mid 20s)
my calculation for level guessing said this should be lvl23 ish...
(gonna need a new formula)

I don't think creatures have a level anymore. I'm level 27, trying to get 450,000 XP to advance in my only combat profession, CH. I can get bolle bol missions against level 27 creatures, but when I hit a wildbolle bolit was level 50.
Against mission gualamas I win every time, and always by the same margin. I send in my level 23 creature and start firing with my powered-up DL20 rifle (since my three good rifles now need skills I will never have.) Being prone makes no difference. Distance makes no difference. It would save time if the game just killed the lower-level combatant in the first second.

did anyone else find that sampling huger level creatures is WAY easier, adn sampling lower level creature is much harder?
i NAILED the shallow tortons in one chot each...
but I still can't sample the capper spineflpas
now it said that the tortons were level 16, or i wouldn't have even tried... i got 3 samples (from 3 tortons). SO since they were all good quality I decided to sue them to make what i thought would be my first marketable dewback. i mixed it with so bark mite dna... (torton for prowess, mental and physique) and what did i get? a 600 HAM, LVL 148 Dewback! LOL!
I had read about the fortittued problems, so I decided to sample LOWER LVL creatures, like spineflaps... it ended up being rawls and hermit spiders... then i got a 300 HAM LVL 5 Dewback.... what the hell? Half the ham, 1/30th the LVL?
I may not have understood the system before, since i'm a new player, but none of this makes sense. at least before it made some sense and i could make decent pets using better DNA.
