This might seem like an obvious tip but incase you didn't know you can use the respec to gain a few boxes with ease. The secret is to have a surplus of exp which is used in an elite profession. For master bio-engineers this will probably be dna sampling and scouting exp.

Put simply drop some skills that you know you have enough surplus exp to train in again after the respec. I personally gained 4/0/03 in creature handler by ditching master be and dropping to dna sampling 2 combined with dropping to ranger tracking 2 from 4. I then went straight to the bio-eng trainer to get master back and took tracking back up to 3. Not bad since I essentially got half of an elite combat profession after only having marksman rifles 4 originally

Be smart... think beyond the respec itself.
